Mr. Isaac Huss

I was born the second of four children of Walter and Paula Huss in Coon Rapids, MN.  I attended Epiphany Catholic School Kindergarten through 8th grade and Coon Rapids High School 9th-12th grade.  I then spent a year serving with the National Evangelization Team (NET), based out of St. Paul, and traveled the country leading retreats for middle school and high school students.  I then enrolled at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul and joined St. John Vianney Seminary where I discerned a possible call to the priesthood.  After deciding that the Lord had other plans for me, I decided to pursue teaching.  I find teaching high schoolers both challenging and rewarding.  I also have a great love for sports, and have enjoyed coaching the boys basketball c-squad the last two years.  I write a column for the Superior (Wisconsin) Catholic Herald directed towards young men, and am currently looking for other mediums to share my writing.
