My passion to work with children encouraged me to get a degree in Elementary Education, which I received, from The College of Saint Catherine in 2004. Shortly after graduation I acquired my Minnesota teaching license in K-6 Elementary Education and Social Studies Specialty 5-8. On August 18, 2005 I signed my first teaching contract and began my first year teaching at St. Michael School, where I had a wonderful first two years of teaching. After my second year my family decided to move closer to family and I found a teaching position here at Loyola Catholic School. My first year at Loyola I taught 4th grade math, 5th grade reading, 6th grade religion and 6-8th art. The next year I taught 7th and 8th grade art and computer. This year I switched gears and became the technology integration specialist. I am able to fulfill my love for teaching through 9th grade computer and advanced computer.
