If, then, you are looking for the way by which you should go, take Christ, because He Himself is the way.
- St. Thomas Aquinas
St. Thomas Aquinas was right when he said that if you were looking for the right way to turn, turn to Christ. It is my goal as a Catholic school teacher to instill a love and hunger for Christ in each of my students. The Lord continuously leads, challenges, and takes you places throughout your life; it is up to us to trust in His will for us.
I feel blessed that the Lord brought me to Loyola Catholic School to teach high school religion and psychology. I graduated from the University of St. Thomas in 2008 with a B.A. in Social Studies Secondary Education, an additional major in Psychology and a minor in Family Studies. I am looking to further my education in the near future.
At Loyola, I have enjoyed coaching 8th grade volleyball, assisting with the high school danceline, and advising S.A.D.D. (Students Against Destructive Decisions). I not only want to give my students an education to help them survive in today’s world, but more importantly, an education and life that helps them get to Heaven.
Listed in the left side bar are the syllabi for the courses I am teaching. Please feel free to download a copy. I am here to serve and educate your student, please contact me if you have questions or concerns.
"Lord, teach me to be generous. Teach me to serve you as you deserve; to give and not to count the costs;
to fight and not to heed the wounds; to toil and to not seek for rest;
to labor and not to ask for reward.
Save that of knowing that I do your will."
Prayer of St. Ignatius of Loyola
