I have been an elementary teacher for 20 years and have taught with Loyola for 17 years. My favorite part of teaching is watching a student’s eyes light up when a challenging concept is understood.


I grew up in the country near Valley City, ND and played a lot of baseball in my younger years. I attended college at Valley City State University and obtained a business degree; knowing business wasn’t my passion in life I returned to school at Moorehead State University for my degree in education.


I have been married for 20 years to my wife Sara and we have three children who all attend(ed) Loyola. Dani (20), Gerae (18), and Isaiah (16). In my spare time I enjoy the outdoors, photography, reading, and attending my children’s events.
